About Me

I strive to make your first appointment as comfortable as possible. It is my belief that you are an expert on yourself and I am an expert in psychiatric medicine. Together, we can find solutions to life's problems that prevent you from enjoying your life to the fullest. This usually begins with an hour appointment for adults, or a ninety minute session for children and their family members. This time is used to assess the problem, comprehensively evaluate all symptoms, offer a possible diagnosis, and then offer recommendations that consider the medical, psychological, social, and spiritual aspects of treatment. My follow up appointments range from 15 mins to 30 mins and include medication follow up and brief therapy as appropriate. Treatment for children also includes comprehensive behavioral plans and correspondence with schools and teachers as needed.

My treatment style is solution focused. I enjoy working together with people to help them find practical ways to improve how they feel. I enjoy working with children and families and specialize in the treatment of behavioral disorders including Attention Deficit Disorder, defiant behaviors, and school difficulties. In my personal time I’m a big fan of football, video games, and motorcycles!
