About Me
I graduated from Messiah University in May 2024. During my internship I was able to accumulate over 400 hours of direct client experience including treatment of anxiety, depression, OCD, autism spectrum disorder, trauma/PTSD, and family therapy. My passion is to help children, teens, and families navigate these important years together and foster healthy communication and relationships. I am currently working through training to be a certified autism spectrum disorder clinical specialist. My long term goals are to become certified in play therapy and EMDR.
My main approach is cognitive behavioral therapy. This looks into the relationship between our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. As a Christian, I also like to incorporate spiritually-integrated psychotherapy, however, I am open to working with clients from any spirituality. When working with children and families, I will utilize a family system lens. Overall, my sessions are person-centered to foster a therapeutic relationship for the client to feel safe.
